CompactMag™ alloy
CompactMag™ alloy has been designed after extensive research to provide the most secure method for the production of compacted graphite irons. By carefully balancing the active elements in the alloy, section sensitivity can be minimised whilst producing a large number of even sized compacts and eliminating grey iron flakes.
The CompactMag™ alloy production method is titanium free, thus eliminating the danger of contamination of returns and allowing for returns to be mixed with standard ductile iron. The method also allows for a wider production window than the Mg-undertreatment processes.
