Global Demand and Supply Planner

Job Description:主要职责描述

As the global demand and supply planner, you will work for your functional area to promote strategic development of Elkem Silicones, which supports the global product lines and regional sales and marketing teams, under the goal of improving supply chain operation efficiency, fully utilize and synergizing production capacity, integrating business management, and consistently reducing operating cost.

Most important areas of responsibility:

 STRATEGIC

Contribute to the update of BOARD INCA core model/OFT, for business lines under responsibilities

• Organize meeting with business, industrials, operations, to gather all required information on mix evolution, projects on going, capacities evolutions, and then double check the results before Global Capacity Review – horizon Y+1-Y+4
• Quaterly review with RF, Yearly review for strategic plan

Team member of strategic project to FEL3 (capex validation)

• Represent SC on first steps of projects, for early capacities / flows / raw materials warning
• Liaise and then transfer with regional / local supply chain for execution

TACTICAL and OPERATIONAL

Consolidate WW demand, challenge forecast data (budget, rolling, …), analyze FA 

Work with regional demand and supply planner for the consolidate of demand for their regional operations (WW sales, regional production)

Define and update SOIP consensus forecast in OFT for intercompany, together with regions (VCO Module 3), inter-regions plan monitoring (interco forecast accuracy, interco OTIF, check consistency of interco demand in OFT, define interco consensus forecast with regions & VCO)

• Organize monthly meeting with region to review KPI, check unconstrained demand update, and identify escalation topics (consensus <> requested on horizon M+2 – M+18) – last week of the month

Contribute to S&OP process (2-18 months), prepare inter-regions allocation plan (VCO module 3), and WW consolidation (VCO module 5)

• Module 3 : define with global demand planner the consensus forecast for intermediates / with VCO
• Module 5 : facilitate executive sign-off of SOIP plan

Internal resource management (define & control allocation in case of WW shortage)

OFT/VCO key user : training, evolution on OFT/VCO and related KPIs in Power BI
