The position is located in Kristiansand, Norway for a period of 12 or 24 months.
Internal communication coordinator for IT in Elkem
In order to lift our employee centric philosophy, IT in Elkem needs to ensure good communication channels and actions both internally within IT, but also towards the rest of the Elkem global organization.
To enable the success of IT strategy, simple and professional communication and information is essential. This role will be key in our digital transformation and enhancement of Elkem digital employee experience.
Most important functional areas:
- Coordinate and manage global IT information (IT in Elkem)
- Secure quality and professional communication channels
- Support and establish relevant content and routines for learning paths / tools updates / new policies
- Ensuring collaboration and usage of relevant capabilities across Elkem
- According to the communication plan, ensure communication efficiency and work with continuous improvement
- Develop and execute on IT editorial and channel strategy
Qualifications needed:
- Excellent writing, presentation and visual storytelling skills, SharePoint editor skill are an advantage
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing (Adobe Suite)
- Knowledge on how to build user centric learning material
- Capabilities to work across a global organization
- Multi-cultural and diversity understanding
- Ability to communicate and build effective working relationships across a diverse global audience
- A portfolio including visuals / graphic productions is a plus
A service-minded, proactive approach unlocking technical barriers or possible competence deficit on communication will be key. This includes usage of new digital collaboration solutions, standardization and governance.
