TS leader- Release coating & PSA

Job Scope

Technical support focusing on the APAC RC customers, as well as the innovational market development, with Global RC technical competency strengthening, forging a professional task force to support the APAC RC&PSA business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the APAC TS team (about 10 people) to ensure the efficient technical support to RC&PSA business growth in APAC, including full spectrum of release coating products, covering solvent base, solvent, emulsion and UV, as well as silicone PSA, covering BPO and PA type;

1. Review and quantify technical needs from business development requirement and convert it into technical design
2. Engaged in customer troubleshooting,
3. Lead the team to carry out the networking and collaboration with technical HQ in Europe and other sites, initiatively leverage of these resources in supporting of all APAC accounts.
4. Organize/coordinate the training and consultation support to customers, other functions on specific products and technology.
5. Actively work with formulation team to understand gap and provide technical solutions (set up projects) accordingly
6. Able to present some technical results at RCPSA trade associations

Skills and Knowledge required

1. Master degree or above, major in Chemical related discipline.
2. 10 years minimum in continuous line coating industry with 1^st hand experience.
3. Experience in international company with transverse relationship
4. Tracible record of team management with solid achievements
5. Comfortable in R&D project management process and knowledge of laboratory testing & data analysis is a must
6. Excellent communication, ability to deliver clear opinion out to team member and team working skills
7. Positive attitude when facing work pressure and ability to breakdown complicated problem.
8. Spoken and written English; fluent in Chinese
