Grievance mechanism

Elkem’s grievance mechanism is targeted towards stakeholders who have feedback or concerns related to our plants, projects or other business activities worldwide. It is your channel to present issues to the leaders of these activities, with coordination from Elkem’s team for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

All grievances will be reviewed and processed according to established procedures. We aim for a maximum response time of 10 working days. If you have a grievance you would like to share with us, please use the form below.

What happens after you submit your grievance?

  1. Elkem will receive and register all grievances submitted. This is coordinated by the ESG team. All data is treated in line with our Privacy policy.
  2. Elkem will assign each grievance and define the solution approach with actions and individuals responsible. This is monitored and followed up by the ESG team.
  3. Elkem will send a response to the submitter with information about actions taken to resolve the grievance. The ESG team will follow up and register the actions and close the grievance.
