Privacy and cookies
What are cookies?
When services are delivered on the internet, this often involves small amounts of data placed in your browser. This includes small files known as cookies.
Information from cookies are stored to create better services for you as a consumer, and are used for matters such as:
- Allowing a service to recognise your electronic device and your browser, so you do not need to give the service the same information more than once.
- Recognising that you already have a username and password created in the service, so you do not need to specify the same information on every website you visit.
- Measuring how many users that make use of the service, and how the service is used. This allows the service to optimise content and capacity.
