Cenospheres

Cenospheres are hollow spheres that are added to the cement slurry to reduce the slurry density to low levels where water in combination with conventional extenders fail to achieve the required properties.

Cenospheres are added to the cement slurry to reduce the slurry density where water in combination with conventional extenders fail to achieve the required properties. The slurry properties prepared using Cenospheres is a stable system and the set cement properties show relatively high compressive strength values, low permeability, hence, a high resistance to acid and brine attacks.
