Elkem Silicon Products Sheffield

The plant is situated at Gainsborough in the east midlands of England close to the steel towns of Sheffield and Scunthorpe.

Elkem Milling UK has been operated by Elkem since 2018 when it was purchased from TMG. The operation however been on the same site and operated by the same third party for over 20 years.

The main product here is Si-RG98, a Silicon powder used as an antioxidant in refractories and also small quantities of Si-RG75, a Ferro Silicon powder.
